Priority 4

Improved Instruction

To improve instruction, we are shifting from resource-based teaching to a cohesive curriculum, supported by intensive walkthroughs with structured feedback. Participation in Colorado’s S-CAP process will help us address low academic achievement by prioritizing critical content mastery. Our goal is to enhance instructional delivery and ensure students meet essential standards for long-term success.
Strategic Priority Four
Why is this important?1. Shifting from Resource-Based to Curriculum-Based Instruction: Ensuring that teaching is guided by a structured curriculum rather than just resources to improve instructional consistency and effectiveness.
2. Implementation of Walkthroughs & Feedback for Improvement: Conducting intensive classroom walkthroughs with structured feedback to enhance teaching practices and support professional growth.
3. Focus on Critical Content Mastery to Improve Achievement: Addressing low academic performance by prioritizing mastery of essential standards through improved content delivery and participation in the S-CAP process.
