Strategic Priorities

Recruit, Retain, and Support All Staff
Recruiting, retaining, and supporting good teachers are essential to student success and a thriving school community. Strong educators enhance achievement, create a positive school culture, and build community trust. Retaining teachers ensures instructional continuity, reduces hiring costs, and fosters mentorship, while providing professional support increases job satisfaction and effectiveness, ultimately benefiting students.

Curriculum Development and Implementation
Developing and implementing a strong curriculum is essential to ensuring that students are prepared for future academic, career, and life challenges.

MTSS and Improvement of Process
We are implementing embedded meetings to identify and support Tier I, II, and III students through MTSS and RTI, ensuring they receive targeted interventions and monitoring. With a focus on long-term growth, we anticipate full effectiveness of the Champion process by year two.

Improved Instruction
To improve instruction, we are shifting from resource-based teaching to a cohesive curriculum, supported by intensive walkthroughs with structured feedback. Participation in Colorado’s S-CAP process will help us address low academic achievement by prioritizing critical content mastery. Our goal is to enhance instructional delivery and ensure students meet essential standards for long-term success.
